Makati City - Government officials, maritime security practitioners, legal and policy experts, and members of the academe convened in Makati City on August 13, 2026, for “Building Resilience through Collaborations: Security of Critical Maritime Infrastructures.

The forum addressed evolving threats to critical maritime infrastructure and examined institutional mechanisms for inter-agency coordination, infrastructure protection, operational resilience, and continuity. Discussions emphasized the importance of coordinated policies, clearly defined responsibilities, and sustained cooperation among relevant government agencies and maritime stakeholders in protecting assets essential to national security, economic activity, and maritime connectivity.
