UAE Suspends Trade With Iran Following Reported Missile Incident

The United Arab Emirates has suspended trade and financial transactions with Iran following a reported missile incident targeting maritime navigation near the Gulf state.

The decision comes amid heightened regional tensions and continuing security concerns affecting commercial shipping and energy transportation in and around the Strait of Hormuz. UAE authorities said air defense systems detected two ballistic missiles launched from Iran, with both reportedly falling into the sea.
